Mitchell Interiors is a design and decorating business with services that range from interior consultations through to furniture procurement and complete custom designed rooms. You get access to exclusive showrooms with unique pieces for furniture, fabric, flooring, lighting and artwork.

Interiors Consultation - $500

My interiors consultation is a 2 part meeting, which starts with a 1 hour briefing to ascertain your requirements.

In this initial meeting we will discuss which areas of your home need attention and your individual requirements for each space. We also discuss your likes and dislikes and approximate budget. I measure and take photos of the area and give preliminary suggestions.

 In the second meeting I provide you with mood boards for the key areas in your home. The mood boards will display a variety of pictorial examples of rooms in your individual style and it will also give you a colour palette to work with. I also provide drawings of each room with the placement of furniture in the room.

Interior Decorating - procurement of furniture, artwork, lighting.

With this level of service I source all pieces for your home - custom design furniture, rugs, cabinetry, window treatments, appoint artwork and lighting and also select fittings, fixtures and finishes.

This process proceeds with a 1 hour brief to get the exact scope of works required. This scope of works will ascertain the exact pieces of furniture, lighting, artwork, cabinetry, curtain and window treatments required. I commence sourcing all pieces and compile it into a decorator package for you.

In the second meeting we go through all the pieces for your home. I show you photos of all furniture, present fabric, curtain and rug samples in accordance with the scope of works. Once a clear selection has been made I take you on a shopping trip to show you the key pieces.
